I was just reading the blog post by Jim Randall. What caught my eye about it was the strikingly beautiful young doctor. Heck I'd just like to get a look at her! Sigh....I'm just SO shallow!

The young man who Jim speaks of, I salute his life and hope there is a gleam in his eye as he has discovered what none of us know.
I think about how many souls have gone through life before me. It confounds my mind every bit as much as trying to make sense of the creation of the universe.

 I have a  youngster who is not biologically mine. He was 8 when I'd last seen him.  I had not seen him or heard from his mother for about 10 years. When I did reconnect he'd taught himself to play bass guitar, front his band and write the songs. I am a professional musician. He tells me he was influenced and driven to play because of me. Is this what is people mean by legacy? Or is his becoming a competent musician just one of those random coincidences which confounds me everyday. I hope so.
