Inspiring and Empowering Positive People
‘Work’, it’s a really hot topic at the moment, many
people are without work, but equally there are so
many people who are unhappy in their current jobs.
Work makes up a massive part of our lives, on average;
we spend a minimum of 40 hours every week working,
not including the time we spend getting ready and our
daily commute to and from our work place.
Our work life can take up so much of our time and
energy and will probably continue to play on most
people’s minds even hours after finishing! So with this
in mind, it stands to reason that what you spend the
majority of your time doing should be something that
you thoroughly enjoy, not just something that you do
to make money. The famous philosophiser Confucius
wrote “Choose a job you love, and you will never have
to work a day in your life”. Now I know this sounds
great in theory but in practice this is not everyone’s
experience. But what I am saying, is I believe it can be!
I’m passionate about people performing at their best
and it’s my job to help people achieve just that!
My name is Luke Havard and I specialise in peak
performance coaching. I work with people of all ages
in the most important areas of their life and career. To
date I’ve coached in excess of 1,000 adults and young
people from the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, Central
and South America.
My current coaching clients consist of politicians, small
businesses, high ranked army officers, and corporate
clients. My corporate clients work for well known
brands such as Range Rover, Johnson and Johnson,
HSBC and Pfizer Healthcare USA, to name but a few.
From my experience I have come to see the same issues
time and time again that lead to people becoming
unhappy and frustrated in their work.
Many people are working in jobs that they have
absolutely no interest or passion in doing! They spend
their day wishing they had the courage and confidence
to hand in their notice and start up their own business
or embark on a new career adventure, but have no idea
where to start! Other people really enjoy their job,
they’re highly skilled and good at what they do but
feel paralysed by fear and lack confidence so spend
the majority of their time holding back, never fully
committing to giving their all.
Does this sound like you? If you had to apply for a
new job this week, are you confident that you could
sell yourself and have the edge over hundreds of
other applicants? Lets say your boss asks you to take
on more responsibility and leadership in work, are you
able to operate under pressure?
The days of coasting in work are over! There’s a
growing expectation for employees to keep on rising
to the challenge, to keep on producing higher levels of
excellence. Your only options are to stay and get better
or change career or start up your own business.
But don’t worry. I’ve made it my mission over the years
to help people to perform above and beyond what they
or anyone else believed was possible. I’m a strategist;
I help people to find a way, to do whatever it takes,
to get what they want. Most people put a cap on their
potential, due to an unwillingness to change, therefore
preventing themselves from achieving their best. I
believe that there’s always another level, but you have
to be prepared to go where you’ve never been before.
After all, if you always do what have always done, you’ll
always get what you’ve always got! It’s not action that
you should be afraid of; in my experience, inaction is
what is crippling our country!
I coach people to identify exactly what they want, to
have an absolute clarity about the direction they are
heading and then strategy to execute their plans, no
hype, just action.
3 steps that you must take to achieve visible change
1. You need to be clear about what you want and
where you are in relation to your goal. It’s crucial
that you write it down on a piece of paper, be
specific about why you want to achieve this, what’s
your motivation?
2. Identify the resources you will need to accomplish
your goal, for example more training, more
confidence, better communication skills etc.
3. Be relentless in your pursuit of achieving your goal;
set a realistic date by which you would like to
achieve your desired outcome and commit to
doing whatever it takes to moving towards that
destination every day!
Any big change that you make in your career will never
be an easy step to take whether it’s aiming for a big
promotion or changing your whole career direction,
it requires the upmost dedication and commitment, a
choice that many people are too afraid to make. Sadly,
I believe that the choice to simply settle for less than
your best is a far worse decision to live with, than the
fear of what if!
Are you fed up of settling for
less in your career? Why not claim your free 30 minutes
consultation session with Luke today; now is the time
to take control of your career.

I'm confused and need some guidance. When we talk about forgiving so that we can free ourselves from the past and the pain, does this mean we tell those that hurt us to forgive us or that we forgive them. Also, just to clarify, we talk to them…Continue
