Comment by Enjo Lives on February 5, 2012 at 2:57pm marriage-this is a choice to love someone and be there for them for life. It's a committment that you choose them although you might find others of interest, you say no and stick to your choice. When it gets hard, you stay. It has to be unselfish but healthy at the same time. It's sort of like a mission of love...to see how can you love someone the best you can but not expecting them to love back however in a healthy relationship, they do love you back and also seek to love you the same and have the same level of committment. Also, it's helpful if you both can have similar values and are able to communicate.
Marriage is a serious commitment. I am now divorced and thought I was committed to my husband. Things changed and I had to get out. Now I am back with my first love, the father of my children(they are grown now) and I am going to marry him. We both have God first in our lives and I am so ready to marry him and really be happy for once in my life!! Just want to thank God for always being there for me!! We are both committed and I have known this man since I was 14 years old, thank you God for bringing him back in my life!!
