I actually just created a google doc for my gratitude journal and just leave the tab open on my laptop.  Honestly, I don't do it every day, but pretty close :)  Seems to work pretty well.  I had a wonderful peaceful day out on the boat and on the beach with a good friend yesterday, very grateful for that :)

Today I sat down for 10 minutes and wrote down a few things I was grateful for. Id been feeling dull today and this helped keep the flickering flame inside me at a constand low flame, just enough to rest for tonight and recover fully =)

I've been wanting to create a Grateful Journal for a months but I would put it to the side. I'm happy I finally started =) Great people in life are such great influences =)

Hi Cynthia :)

What you shared makes a lot of sense on why you would feel the way you do. A good method for me has always been looking at my foot prints behind and seeing how everything worked in the best way possible and if it didn't I became a stronger/better person from it. With that being said, that has created less worrying and more knowing/trusting. Another method has been repeating affirmations to improve whatever area I need help with, it has become such a benefit into believing I am "that affirmation". Here is one of my favorites: "Positive energy surrounds me at all times".

Hope this help some for you and my condolence to your father’s passing.

I've always thought of myself as a live by the seat type of person.  But sadly a year ago I got married which is still one of my greatest blessings.   But I've stopped doing a lot of the things I once did and living as though life is SHORT.  When my dad died it was my personal goal to do just that and I kept to it.  But now I have to revamp and start doing it again.  If anyone has any new ideas or beginning to stop worrying so much (children/husband) then I'm all for anything loving.
