Being healthy and happy is the most important state of being for me.I have been given a second chance and I have embraced my new life completely. I eat only foods that are good for me and drink plenty of water. I use visualization seeing the goodness from these foods spreading through my organs and cells. I have never felt so fit and energetic,and walk 30 mins easch day. All this after beating Leaukemia last May. Namaste

After all is said and done, it really depends on the individual who wants to lose the weight and I mean exactly that - WANTS TO LOSE THE WEIGHT - Once you have the determination almost anything works.  Case in point -  My niece wanted to lose 55 pounds and within four months she had lost all of it on her own self-controlled diet and discipline.  NO FLOUR FOODS, NO SODA, NO CANDY, etc.  She would supplement her meal with an energy drink.  WILLPOWER - that is what it takes.  Of course, to tighten up the looseness (flab) - exercise: some walking or treadmill, cycling, swimming.

For all of you who would like to lose some weight, I wish you luck.  It can be done.  Go for it.

Hi Everyone:  I have recently started a  new routine to take control of my mind and body:  First off in the morning it's 25-35 minutes of yoga followed by 10-20 minutes of meditation.  Keeps me energized for the entire day.

Will include some walking soon.
