Well the first two weeks of the fall semester have been busy with classes, appointments and making significant connections for Cooper Hawk Ranch NIS. We are under the SRC umbrella for now. Our first event with be Camus Sustainability days at Butte CC, on October 19. I am excited. It will be our first attempt at displaying information and listing more volunteers. Jesse Lyon and his community garden group are going to come out in Oct. and set out a grid plan for the spring planting. I welcome suggestions, of education, child welfare, sustainable topics, organic gardening, and subjects on this line. Links are also helpful. Thanks for checking in on the group.

I am sorry I have been remiss about getting back to this group. I have been busy with facebook. I have a group and a page there also. We are growing and organizing more each day. Starting Tuesday the 23rd, we will be at Butte CC main campus at the SRC center. Our goal is to have our non profit status by end of December. If all goes to plan we should be putting in our first garden next year. I post frequently on the blogpost. If you want to contribute, whether it be skills, money, information, or experience with child care, please feel free to comment here or on the blog. You man find something you are able to contribute. New list will be posted. I was thinking today, the county is going to require an on sight first aid kit. That is just one example of the many affordable contributions that a member can make.
