Two things I'm almost always at are the peace vigil every Friday at 4:00. They meet on the corner of Magnolia and Cornwall, and Food Not Bombs comes out and provides a free meal for everyone. It's fun and it's also the longest-running peace vigil in the country (48 years!). 

But you're even more likely to see me at the Socialist Alternative meetings every Thursday a 7pm up on campus. We're an activist organization, committed to fighting for the working class everywhere, and for ridding the world of the destructive force of capitalism. We meet in Academic Instructional Center West in room 408. There's free parking in the nearby 'C' lots on the south end of campus.

Come to the FREEDOM premiere at the Pickford Theater and meet the filmmakers!

Local leaders and organizations are coming together for this one time event to unite the community around their efforts to practice sustainable living.
