I live in Colorado all my life and I'm thinking to move to Washington State. So I'm wondering if anyone of you comes from Washington State? thanks.

I live in Bellingham, WA.  It's a beautiful place.  The main concern for most people is we do have a lot of gray days.  There is a ton to do outside, mountains, islands, parks.  Where in WA were you thinking of going? The east side of the state has a lot more sun, it's more of a clear/dry climate.  Lots of folks here from CO too.

Any particular reason for Washington?

Hello:  I moved to Colorado in 2005 and am preparing to move back to Oregon in July 2013.  My move back to Oregon will be because I know more people out there and the cost of living compared to Denver is like the difference between night and day.  I have family in Washington and I can say that it is very beautiful there, rains a lot and is very earthy with very down to earth people much like Oregon.  I read an article recently stating that there are a lot of jobs available in Washington State and Oregon for professional degree folks.  There are numerous outdoor activities and hiking and the ocean is close by.  I went back to Oregon in June and made it to the mountains hiking into the falls and to the coast for a day on the beach and good sea food.  If you move there you have to check out the Columbia River Gorge too.  It is beauty beyond belief.  Good luck!!

Everything is all relative. I moved from the east coast, and the cost of living in Denver is so much better. I feel there is no perfect place to live. However, Good luck moving back to Oregon!

Greetings, born and raised in Seattle, WA. I absolutely love my city, The Emerald City. I refer to it as "Gods Country!" It's a myth about it raining here all the time, maybe in the days when my mother and her family moved here which was the early '40's, but today the weather has changed dramatically, like it has everywhere else. Don't get me wrong, it still rains here, but not as often as a lot of other places across the country. Our weather is not as extreme as it is in other states, we do have all four seasons. You can't find another more beautiful state. It's the second week of Fall and we're still experiencing 70+ degree weather, the sun is shining brightly today with no rain in site, in fact it hasn't rained in almost 3 months. The Fall colors are gorgeous. Good luck on your decision and your move!

Forgive / Forgiveness

I'm confused and need some guidance. When we talk about forgiving so that we can free ourselves from the past and the pain, does this mean we tell those that hurt us to forgive us or that we forgive them. Also, just to clarify, we talk to them…Continue
