Inspiring and Empowering Positive People
Any other atheists or agnostics out there that think life just rocks? I'd dig some discussion... what about atheist inspirarion of a positive nature? Maybe even some ideas that motivate us to make life better, despite the common disbelief in an afterlife...

That's why I love the Emerson quote: "What you do speaks so loud that I cannot hear what you say." All we have to do is look at our actions and our lives to know what we really believe!

The atheist thing though... could easily be misinterpreted. I would call myself an atheist since I do not believe in the divine (i.e. God or gods). Some would call me an agnostic because: even though I do not believe, if I were to acquire substantial evidence of the existence of the divine, I would embrace it. With this idea, I must stay humble and admit that I see no substantial evidence to denounce the existence of the divine. Realizing this, I do not fear the potential of eternal damnation: even if it were true, it makes no sense for the divine to judge me based on the rituals I perform. I believe I would be judged by my character in such an event.
