Hi, I just joined today also, not sure how this all works, we can try to inspire each other.

I just joined also not sure how this works lol

Hi, I just joined the other day. I liked this site on my facebook a while back and like the positive post in my news feeds.

I'm a big Bo Bice fan from AI season four he's a positive person and Always Thanks Jesus for putting him where he is today at every concert I see him, I have an identical twin that is a fan as well we have so much of fun at all his concerts and have met lots of awesome peeps (as Bo calls us) through him.

We lost our father December 15th 2011 he was an amazing man I miss him dearly. March 23rd I was in a major car accident with all three of my grand kids Desi who is 8 and I both had to be extracted from the car and life flighted to trauma hospitals while my two year old grandson was taken by ambulance with server head trauma.

I had lots of broken bones, Desi's left leg was broken and head trauma too. Dustin my 12 year old grandson was the only one in the car that didn't have any injuries other then physiological trauma he thought all of us where dead but got out of the car trying to see which one of us my still be alive he wanted to save just one of us.

God was with us that day. All of us have made a full recovery. I am in pain most of the time from all the broken bones but I'm remaining positive that it will get better with time.

Bo followed our recovery and even sent me all my signed CD's I lots in the wreak.

I hope to meet lot's of new friends here too help me stay positive as I journey through the next phase of my recovery.

Sharon.

# 1, quit smoking one cigaratte at a time. Providing you're speaking tobacco. Chew gum and suck on mints or ice. # 2, only have small snacks at a time. Preferably, fruit, you can even suck on dried fruit. That is if you just need something to suck on. Suck on hard candy instead of eating foods which make your body spread to a size, you do not want to be.

Your dogs are fed up with the smoke also.

If you are board, pick up a couple of good books, and read your way to excitement. Go see a good movie. Go to the library. Go to the park and just walk fifteen minutes a day, for starters. Go see the mall, sit there for a while. Meet and greet interesting people. Life really isn't boring, we tend to process it that way.

One last thing Cheryl, Get dressed in pretty colors, look in the mirrow. Put your makeup on and go out and make it a great day, in fact make it a great year. Your life is in your hands. It's totally up to You to make yourself HAPPY.

Now take those Dogs for a nice long walk. That way they can be Happy Also.

Signing out,

DPHFJ

I just joined as well. I will talk to you later.

Hi Cheryl, any changes you want to make in your life start in your mind. Decide what you want to change, keeping it realistic so you believe you can achieve it. Be very clear about the change and how you will feel once you've achieved it. Then you will start to have ideas about how you can achieve it. Trust and follow up on these ideas. Sometimes they may feel intuitive or instinctive, believe in yourself and follow them through. Your mind is a wonderful tool for solving problems as long as you trust and allow it. Keep it simple, one change at a time, so as not to get overwhelmed, and given enough time you will become the person you dream of.

There is a wealth of useful info online for nutitrion, such as this site... www.daveywaveyfitness.com/category/weightloss

Be healthy :-)

Take good care,
Michael

Cheryl, are we sisters? :)  You sound just like me other than the smoking part!!  I have one dog and four cats that keep me company and I live in the heart of the US.  Keep your chin up and maybe we'll all figure this thing out!!

Hello there! Change is beautiful and recognizing the things that matter to you the most; is amazing. I've been doing alot of change in my life for two years now but have done more in the last 8 months than ever. I started by reading only positive books, retraining your mind! You would not believe what you can train your mind to do and think. I recommend you read the "secret " or watch the movie. It was a big push in the right direction. Remember though, change is a daily practice. Keep being positive, tell yourself what you want, picture having it and the law of attraction will bring it to you! Namaste my friend

chantele - I started on the path 30 years ago reading Wayne Dyer, but when The Secret came out it boosted me.  Then I got into Abraham-Hicks, Neale Donald Walsch, Eckard Tolle, etc.  Lately, I've been on a downslide and really have to kick myself in the butt to get with it!

Hi Cheryl - I'm 65 and in the US.  I have a boring life too and sm also a smoker.  I live with two dogs, but mine are 55 and 75 pounds.  I seem to have lost my appetite, except for chocolate!  Really, I rarely cook and usually eat just whatever's around.  I've lost 20 pounds over the last two years and am back to my weight at 20!  This is a neat site.  There are some great people, and we've had some very good conversations in the main chat room.I've only been a member about 3 weeks.  It seems like it is growing a lot, mostlly thru people finding out about it on FB.  Are you on FB?  Many good blogs and discussion topics also.

Hello ...I just joined also.....hope to be friends...Have a awesome day.....
